Content Warning: Violence, Mental Anguish

If it wasn’t for the cigarette, crushed, smoldering in the palm of his hand like a souvenir sized nugget from hell, Calm Caleb would have fed Gregor a solid right hook. The pain of perdition burning a hole through his hand was the only thing that could keep Calm Caleb razor focused on not trying to end the man.

“What was that?” Calm Caleb asked. “I’m afraid that I didn’t hear you clearly.”

Gregor stood a menancing 7’2” and weighed 400 lbs, all muscle. He wasn’t the largest natural giant in recorded history, but he often took the record in the living memory of those he haunted. He brought to his face a gigantic hand, a menagerie of meat pieces so massive it could engulf most adult’s torsos in its hateful grip. He rubbed the stubble with a noticeable crackle that filled every cavity of the poorly lit cement bedroom built for automotive lullabies. He bore no expression on his lips, but his eyes blazed black, a well of despair, death, longing, loneliness, and every other negative emotion humans could experience, especially the violent ones that turned natural giants into wrecking balls, juggernauts, and super weapons.
